On arrival of your second day you will be taught how to do the Falconers Knot and to pick up and settle down a Hawk for yourself.
You will then be shown the food that we feed the Birds and how it is prepared prior to flying the Hawk.
Then we look deeper into how we keep Birds of Prey in captivity and what is involved in the training of them.
Then you will be off for a light lunch at the local Inn.
After Lunch everything you have been taught that morning can be put into practice as you fully prepare a Hawk for Flying and go out across the fields, this will include preparing the food, picking up the Hawk, Weighting her, attaching the telemetry, making sure that you have the appropriate equipment to fly the Hawk, then off we go and the whole flying session is done be yourselves.
That will conclude your weekend visit.
